MineCove BuyBuild Submission Guide

Building in MineCove's Creative server is a fun way to showcase your creative skills and earn some Lunas along the way. This guide will walk you through the steps of submitting your build for appraisal and migrating it to the Survival server for others to purchase.

Step 1. Build your Masterpiece

Use your creativity to build whatever you want within your plot boundaries. Let your imagination run wild and have fun with it!

There are blocks that are currently prohibited in buybuild submissions which includes:

  • Command blocks
  • Respawn anchors
  • Bedrock/any unbreakable blocks (barrier, reinforced deepslate etc.)
  • Diamonds, netherite, ancient debris
  • Spawners
  • Beacons

Note: Item Frames, signs and armor stands are allowed but will not copy over into the final Buybuild block.

Step 2. Submitting Your Build

First, retrieve your build's Length, Width, and Height. (Example: 8 blocks long, 5 blocks wide, and 10 blocks tall) . Next, use the command /modreq "Please appraise my build that is named (Name) and is # Long, # Wide, and # Tall".

How to successfully submit a build for Appraisal
Place two Orange Wool, one on each opposite corner of your build. Once corner must be at the lowest point of your build, and the other at the highest point of your build. Like shown to the right

Place one Red wool at the front of your build. The red wool marks the level and front view you want your build to be replicated.

Submit a /modreq while standing on the Red wool with the text "Please appraise my build that is named (Name) and is # Long, # Wide, and # Tall"

The number of appraisals you can submit per week depends on your rank: default ranks can submit 1 appraisal per week, iron and gold can submit 2, emerald can submit 3, and diamond and prestige can submit up to 5 per week.

It's important to make sure your build is complete before submitting it for appraisal to avoid complications.

Step 3. Appraisal Process

After submitting your build, the Creative Server Helpers will look at its effort, rarity of blocks used, and size to put a price tag on it in Lunas. They will also check for illegal blocks and make a plan to replace them with visually similar variants (e.g. Diamond blocks become light blue wool).

Once they've appraised your build, they will contact you with the appraised price and let you know which blocks, if any, will be swapped. You can either accept the appraisal and have your build migrated to the Survival server or decline it and continue working on your build.

Step 4. Migrating Your Build

If you accept the appraisal, your build will be compacted into a Buybuild block. Please allow a few days turn-around time to get this step completed.

Once your Buybuild is ready, you can purchase as many copies of it as you want at the appraised value via /Buybuild buy <buildname> <appraisedvalue> <amount>. You can then sell them to other players at a price you see fit. Note that you get a 10% bulk discount for buying 10 or more!

Following these steps will allow you to share your creativity with others and earn some Lunas in the process. So go ahead and start building your masterpiece in MineCove's creative server!

Step 5. Placing Your Build

To place your Buybuild, ensure you are first at least rank J and standing in a region you are the owner of. Next, take the Buybuild block and rotate it to your liking by left clicking the block. Once you have the orientation that you want, place the Buybuild, stand on it, and eat any food item/potion. If done correctly, the Buybuild will spawn in front of you!
